Fixation Presents Pleasurekraft at CODA

 

"Dance Party", "Let Loose", "Recently Single, Ready to Mingle", "Electronic, House". These are just some of the keywords attributed to CODA on our app, and they describe the venue perfectly. CODA, Footwork's new successor, has undoubtedly some of the best electronic music events in the city. This past Saturday, CODA nailed it once again. The event presented by Fixation and Provoke, hosted Pleasurekraft. If you don't know Pleasurekraft, they are a world renowned electronic DJ duo specializing in forward-thinking techno house with hypnotic beats and intoxicating bass lines. They're an energetic, melodic DJ duo that know how to keep your feet moving.  

 

 

Let us tell you about our experience.

We arrived at CODA around 2am, right in the middle of the party. The crowd was energetic and live. The party was going until about 5am, so it showed no signs of slowing down by 2. Walking into the venue, we noticed a wave of heat coming from inside. At that moment we knew this was an epic "Dance Party." Heading inside, everybody was in their own world, dancing in their own style. The dancing was genuine and real, something you don't often see at ordinary clubs.

We approached the elevated DJ booth, where the energy was radiating into the crowd. Kaveh Soroush, one of the Pleasurekraft DJs who was playing at the time, was definitely having the most fun. And really, that's what you want when you pay to see a DJ live... someone who clearly loves what they're doing.
